My new Gheecraft series micro skiff pays tribute to Harley Gheene who created the first fiberglass micro skiff over 45 years ago.  The new Flatsmaster takes this concept to the next level.  The new Flatsmaster is portable, lightweight and user friendly.  It fits easily in the trunk of a compact car, is manageable for one person to carry and inflates in minutes.  No assembly required!  Once inflated, you clamp on a lightweight two stroke motor to the integrated transom, hit the gas and hang on.  This thing rips!
 
It also slides into the bed of a pickup or on the roof rack of an SUV.  Our revolutionary frameless design eliminates any wood, fiberglass or metal framework.  Our exclusive rigid panels inflate in seconds.  Inflated bench seating elevates you to a level that makes it easy to navigate technical water and spot feeding fish.  It also incorporates our exclusive 4300 Denier reinforced oyster shell resistant bottom and barnacle busting sidewalls and scrub strake.
 
These exclusive features are built into the lightest high performance hull design in the industry.  A typical 16 ft. micro skiff tips the scales at 270 lbs.  Other inflatable micro skiffs weigh between 120-160 lbs. The hull weight of the new Flatsmaster comes in at an impressive 69 lbs. making it extremely easy to handle.  This light weight translates into otherworldly handling characteristics on the water.  It is quick and agile yet tracks like an arrow with its built in full length keel strines.  To top it all off, it is built with low profile quad air chambers which defy the wind.  Where other micro pongas and skiffs are easily blown away by the wind, the new Flatsmaster literally defies the wind.
 
Being purpose built for flats fishing it is designed to pole.  Its sleek low profile design makes it effortless to stealthily pole the flats.  The other cool feature that I built into the new Flatsmaster is an integrated oar system.  Yes, that's right, an oar system.  This thing is a rocket with a pair of oars.  It also allows you to navigate tight channels and gives you great mobility in no motor zones.  Simply detach the bench seat and position it lengthwise on the floor.  Reattach the seat and you have a high performance sculling boat or drift boat for rivers.  The use of oars offers a low impact stealthy approach to intimate water.  You can fish sitting down for a relaxed day on the water using your oars to navigate.
 
Of course due to its extreme stability the Flatsmaster is designed to sight fish.  It is easy to stand up and spot fish at distance.  When fishing the flats our exclusive inflatable leg lock accessory can be purchased separately for precision security even in whitewater conditions.
 
I built the new Flatsmaster specifically for backcountry flats fishing but honestly it excels on rivers and stillwater fisheries as well.  It makes it easy to access backwaters that are virtually untouched by other boats and anglers.  Most of the time the backwaters are loaded with nice fish.
